the USS New York is a new warship that was built using 24 tons of steel from the destroyed world trade center. its sister ships are the USS Arlington (for arlington, virginia, where the pentagon is), and the USS Somerset (for somerset, pennsylvania, where flight 93 crashed). it will carry 360 sailors and 700 Marines to warfare abroad. This new class of ships will project American power to the far corners of the Earth and support the cause of freedom well into the 21st century. From the war for independence through the war on terrorism, which we wage today, the courage and heroism of the people of New York has been an inspiration. USS New York will play an important role in our Navy's future and will be a fitting tribute to the people of the Empire State. i thank you graciously, america: for the politics and the posturing, the motives and the machismo; and for managing to shove your giant dick up:
a) the 3000 people whose blood is on that steel in some form or other,
b) new yorkers in general,
c) the innumerable kids (in denominations of 700) whose blood is yet to be shed,
d) yourself and your citizens in general,
e) the entire world in general, and
f) any and all future forms of the above items,
all at once. "If the USS New York has to follow Osama bin Laden to the gates of hell, PCO Jones and his crew ... have my full support." this is disgusting and embarrassing.
